About Us

Warrior Advocates was founded by Army and Coast Guard veteran Eric Ocasio.  During his transition out of the military, like many veterans, he navigated the dreaded VA disability system. Along the way, he realized how difficult and strenuous the process is.  Determined to understand the system, he conducted hours and hours of research and was successful in filing his claims.  As years passed, Eric met with many veterans who struggled with their disability claims and realized the major need to help other veterans.  Sharing his knowledge, he was able to successfully help these veterans obtain favorable decisions from the VA.  As more and more veterans were referred to Eric for assistance, he realized the large number of veterans missing out on the benefits they have earned, and Warrior Advocates was born.
